T & M Bike Shop is rated 5.0 out of 5 stars, based on 263 reviews!
He moved locations recently! The new location is a gray building and you can come in on the side. Weve been going to T & M Bike shop for a couple years now and its always a fair price.
He is a very nice and honest man. We got bike locks at a reasonable price. He used to be at the University Mall.
try it
Great prices
The back tire on my bike was slashed and I called in the last 40 minutes before closing time, and they said they could fix it. They replaced the tube AND the tire in 10 minutes for $20. Great service, time and price! Definitely going back here.
The guy is professional. He charged $10 and took only 5 minutes for a tube change, placing an essential rubber sheath between wheel and tube this time, without asking. Just go inside the University Mall.
In 15 min they changed my front tire and only cost 22. In bike barn it will take them 2 days to do the same thing. So amazing!!
Really good service. My bike chain was off, and the gear switched was banned. He fix all theses problems in 10min. The initial cost was $15, but he only charge me $10. Good service with cheap price.
I had some problems with my chains and gears (part was bent preventing me from using the lower gears) I went to the bike barn and they said it would cost a minimum of $15 to repair it and a week and a half to have it ready. So I went to this bike shop and the guy fixed it in 10 minutes for only $5. That was a steal and was pretty happy with the result. The dude is pretty quiet and not too chatty, but the results made up for it
Both of my wheels got stolen lastnight. I came here and the bike had new wheels in 20 min. Only $100 total. Highly recommended!
While on the UCD campus, I hit a speed bump a little to hard causing my bike to partially fall off the bike rack on my truck, resulting in a bent rear rim. A quick Google search showed T&M bike shop right across the street. After reading a few of the reviews, I decided to give them a try at the end of my work day. (4:15p) Tim had the problem with my rear wheel diagnosed in 5 seconds. He told me he could complete the repair in 20 minutes for $50 bucks all while working on the previous customers bike. Well to my surprise 20 minutes later my repair was complete! $50 out the door, no fuss no muss. Tim you rock Thanks!!!
I love this place. Cheap prices. Lots of bikes and parts. Knowledgeable staff. I dig that it's small and family owned. I'll be back soon.
Got a quick tune-up and in 15 minutes my bike was done and ready to go. It only cost me $15 and it was definitely worth it.
Fast work, good work and way cheaper than other options out there
amazing amazing I lived in Davis for several years and purchased several bikes from here and always cost cheap to fix my bikes. Now I moved to Berkeley and I have a flat tube for my electric scooter. None of the bike shops want to fix it. Then I come back for a workshop and just remember this bike shop and want a give a last try. He is willing to try to fix it and just charge not much money. I really appreciate it!
Very affordable pricing and hes super quick!!
Literally the best guy!
Replaced my front outer and inner tube and breaks in 15 minutes!
Cost $47 which is pretty reasonable.
Highly recommend
Fast, good, inexpensive, convenient.
Charged me a cheap rate for the part and nothing for the 10 min it took to install it. I couldn't ask for more!
He did a quick double tire repair while dealing with two other customers buying bikes. Tightened and adjusted everything too Fantastic.
Just took my Trek Mountain Bike in for a tune up and the Owner Tim did such an AMAZING job. He's so fast, very knowledgeable, completely professional and has the BEST prices in town. He definitely made a lifelong customer out of me.
Brought my bike that I thought was completely broken. Steering was messed up, the brakes were not useable, seat was completely gone. Really thought I was going to have to buy a new bike.
Fixed in 30 min at a fantastic price. If I could give 6 stars I would. My friends and I love this place.
Quite unwelcoming but I got away what I needed with Zero customer support feel
Hands down the best bike shop in Davis. As an avid cyclist Ive brought multiple bikes for service and he always has the best prices and fastest turn around times. Also very accommodating in helping me rent a bike in an emergency situation. Very honest and knowledgeable guy that provides quality service for a fair price.
One of the best bike shops in town, on god. Just got my electric bike fixed. Some will say the price is inflated, but Tim gets his job done with the most affordable price. Keep it up Tim!

Quick repair and a good price.
Replaced my inner tube and tire in 20 minutes for $22. Was going to go to the Bike Barn but they would have charged me $32 and it would have taken four days. T&M Bike Shop has great service and great prices!
They fixed my flat tire in 10mins for only $10.
The guy is professional. He charged $10 and took only 5 minutes for a tube change, placing an essential rubber sheath between wheel and tube this time, without asking. Just go inside the University Mall.
Usually it's pick two of the following: quality work, quick work, or cheap work. At this place you can have all three!
In 15 min they changed my front tire and only cost 22. In bike barn it will take them 2 days to do the same thing. So amazing!!
Forget Craigslist! I have purchased three used bikes from Tim. Good used bike shop IMO. Reasonable prices and well tuned bikes. The man knows what he is doing.
Buy your bike here and learn to maintain it at Bike Fourth. Or build a bike at Bike Fourth.
T&M also repairs bikes. I have no experience with T&M in this department because I do my own maintenance. But I have seen him perform simple repairs at no charge and with no delay (don't expect a free repair for something complicated/time consuming).
Advice for the owner: The maintenance area of the shop is unorganized IMO and would benefit from an organizational system similar to Bike Fourth (e.g., U.C. Davis Bargain Barn file cabinets to classify and store parts).
I am not generally in the habit of writing reviews, but this shop is awesome. It's run by one very high-octane repairman. He quoted me $20 and 25 minutes originally, but he did the repair in 20 minutes and charged me $2 only after I insisted that he let me pay him. During this time I could see that people were bringing in bikes constantly and he was fixing them just as fast. I have no idea how he makes enough money to pay his rent. I cannot rate him highly enough.
Really good service. My bike chain was off, and the gear switched was banned. He fix all theses problems in 10min. The initial cost was $15, but he only charge me $10. Good service with cheap price.
Fast and cheap service... Cheaper than the downtown ones
He changed my back tire in 5 minutes and it only cost 23 dollars, while it took bike barn two days to do exactly the same thing earlier this year. Great work!
My front wheel was stolen so I first took it to the bike barn, the bike barn said it would take at least a week to replace it and would charge me at least $100. Then I took my bike downtown which they said would cost me at least $100 plus a service fee. But I ended up finding this place and I gave my bike to the man. The replacement only took him less than 10 minutes and I thought I would pay $50 but he only charged me an honest $45. The new wheel I got looked slightly used but functional, he also bolted my tire so it can't be taken out easily. Close to campus, fast, cheap, and easy.
Both of my wheels got stolen lastnight. I came here and the bike had new wheels in 20 min. Only $100 total. Highly recommended!
My bike had a flat tire a few weeks ago and I pushed it into this shop and it got fixed in 10 mins. I think it's really good service compared to UC Davis Bike Barn which takes two weeks to fix a flat tire, during which your bike is basically confiscated. It cost me 12 bucks but I think it was worth it. I don't know if I could have saved money by going somewhere else but if you get a flat tire on campus definitely try here. Again, it's much better than the Bike Barn.
Had to get my front derailer replaced and back wheel trued. And replace my pedals.
Finished it in about 2-3 hours in the same day.
$20 for a replacement derailer
$20 for labor.
$10 to true a wheel.
Pedals replacement was free because I had my own pedals to replace them with.
Good service, cheap, fast and better than the bike barn. Come here.
I got night lights and a basket for the back of my bike. The guy who helped me was very kind and installed them quickly. Thank you!
Pros: Nicely done work and usually very fast if they don't have too much workload. Prices are fair and even cheap compared to most places.
Cons: Staff is all but friendly and nice. The store looks awful

I have been here twice and each of my experience was pretty good. The first time I came to change my flat tire, and the second time to change the tube. Each time the service was pretty efficiency and the price was very reasonable, and he even pumped my tires and fixed my seats for free.
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews; I admit that this place doesn't have the most enthusiastic customer service, but the mechanics get their jobs done at a reasonable price.
I trust these guys because they diagnose and fix even complex problems faster than anyone else I've seen. They're always happy to address any follow-up issues (usually free of charge), sell bikes at great value, and fix a flat in 10min for $15-25.
Advice to customers: they're focused on getting you going ASAP, so come in knowing what you want. If you're looking for a lengthy conversation on modding your $1000 bike, other places might be a better fit. Suggestion to store: some services seem underpriced - maybe add an option for tips?

Incredibly helpful! I went to another bike shop a block away and was told "maybe biking just isn't for you". But here a man was helpful and diagnosed me in a second fitting me for a new post. I was in searing knee pain and riding felt almost immediately better. Best 11$ I've ever spent!!
A shirt pin punctured my front tire, so I stopped by and they fixed it in less than 20 minutes for a super affordable price! Super terse, no small talk so it's quick service!
Was a little hesitant to go here due to some of the reviews, but turns out my worries were unfounded. I went to trade in my old beaten up bike for a used road bike, and the Vietnamese guy that was there was generous enough to check the tires on the one I wanted to buy and let me ride it outside before I bought it. He also took the basket off my old bike without any charge.
His English wasn't great, which made it a little hard to communicate, but he was patient and answered all my questions (I was the only customer in the store at the time). Overall, I had a good experience.
Great and fast service! Love getting my bike pumped here!
The guy doesn't talk a lot-which I don't mind because usually I'm done in ten mins here. One time I found out I had a flat tire 20 mins before class started but he changed the tube in five mins and I was able to bike to school and still be early!

I went to trade in my old beaten up bike for a used road bike, and the Vietnamese guy that was there was generous enough to check the tires on the one I wanted to buy and let me ride it outside before I bought it. Needing my brakes replaced and a new tire and tube and was done in 30 minutes!! A fraction of the time it would've taken me anywhere else, as well as a very reasonable price.
I needed to change a tire. Came in, asked the guy to change it, he did in 5 minutes. I paid. I left. No BS, quick in and out repair.
The store though is filthy. Like walking into a garbage dump of bikes and bike accessories.
Great service, lots of bikes here
Came here for a flat tire. Quick service. Good price. Will come back if i ever have any bike concerns.
I was looking for a bike- for basic errand needs, nothing too fancy, so one of my friends, who got her bikes fixed here before, recommended me this shop. The shop is in U mall, very near to the campus, so very convenient for me. A lot of bikes here with many range of prices so it was easy for me to choose a bike within my budget. The sale person there was very friendly, helpful, and very details. He asked me what the reasons i needed the bike for, color i like, etc..and he helped me adjusted the seats, and handles bar, making sure I'm comfortable. I had very good experiences here, will definitely recommend this shop to my others' friends.
Visiting my niece in Davis, and she asked me to go along with her to get her chains and brake fixed. The owner told us to drop the bike, and come back about couple hours. The shop is conveniently located in the mall; we went and did some shopping so we had no problems waiting. Before the times, the owner already called us that the bike was done. Very fast, helpful and friendly service!! My niece loved her new gears!! She'll definitely come back for other maintenance when needed.
Way cheaper than Bike Barn and near campus. A few months ago, to fix my back derailer was going to be $27 at bike barn ($17 part and $10 labor) and it was $15 total here. Today I came in because my bike wasn't biking well b/c my wheel became lodged against the frame. It was a quick and easy fix and he charged me nothing for this repair!
Been here twice and have had super fast, friendly service! I saw the negative reviews and wanted to say that I've never had any trouble. Language barrier could have been an issue but usually if you just state what you want, he'll tell you what he thinks and recommends an additional service. Most of the time he is on the mark what you need. I usually just stand in there while he services my bike so maybe that's why he gives me exactly what I need no more. For a new intertube plus service it's a cheap 11 dollars.
I was slightly hesitant after reading some of the Yelp reviews but my friend recommend this place. I went in for a rear tyre with a slow leak. He was working on a bike. Told me he will take a look and decide if only the tube has to be changed or both. Checked on the spot and showed me the wear on the tyre and recommend changing both. Did it immediately. Spent a total of 10 minutes inside and less the $30. The service was not super friendly but I'm very satisfied! Would recommend for the great price and fast service:)
I've been to T&M twice, one for buying a new basket, and one for getting a repair on my chain, I was very happy both times. the basket that I got for my bike was better than whatever the bike barn had (no offence to them, I love those guys too! ) and it was definitely cheaper. (Bike barn quoted 28+10 for a much smaller rear basket than what I got at T&M for 25+5).
Really good service. My bike chain was off, and the gear switched was banned. He fix all theses problems in 10min. The initial cost was $15, but he only charge me $10. Good service with cheap price.
Super fast. New chain and gear alignment in 15 min for a very reasonable price. I will continue to come here whenever my bike needs work.
I am not generally in the habit of writing reviews, but this shop is awesome. It's run by one very high-octane repairman. Took my bike in to get it's breaks re-aligned; $5 and 10 minutes later it was done.
In 15 min they changed my front tire and only cost 22. In bike barn it will take them 2 days to do the same thing. So amazing!!
I walked my bike into the shop 5 minutes before they opened at 10 in the morning because I wanted to see if they could fix my flat tire right then. The man saw me waiting outside, opened the shop early to let me in, and repaired my tire in under 10 minutes with me standing right there. He showed me where the rubber tire itself was split and said that I would need more than just the tube, which I was then worried would be expensive; however, he charged me $22 total, and I was leaving with a new back tire at 10:05. Awesome service, I am more than pleased!
Fairly prompt service for a 2-manned (at least it was today), family run shop. Even in a rush/with many customers lined up they'll get things done within half an hour. Owner was super accommodating with my needs even though he was swamped with orders.
I just bought a used bike and they also installed fenders for me for a great price. Even transferred my rack from my old bike to the new bike. The bike though used was also refurbished with wheels, firm brakes, and seat (I think it varies by bike though). All the other bikes for sale in the shop seemed nicely tuned as well.
I will definitely come back in the future!
I recently bought a bike from this shop and I absolutely love it. The prices are cheap and service is very fast. Updated my review because this place definitely deserves 5 stars and you honestly cant get anything better than this.
Usually it's pick two of the following: quality work, quick work, or cheap work. At this place you can have all three!
They're fast and hardworking in my opinion. I've been there 4 times due to another bike shop mess up when they built my bike and T&M fixed every problem. One time they didn't even charge me ;_; that made me so happy and relieved. Also they're cheaper than other bike shops.
This place is honestly the best bike shop in Davis... Tire changes are fast and cheap and everything else is done in a timely manner. I have bought two bikes from this shop and I can say I got two awesome bikes! It is really awesome that he makes this shop so welcoming and easy to use!
great bikes for road racing
The guy is professional. He charged $10 and took only 5 minutes for a tube change, placing an essential rubber sheath between wheel and tube this time, without asking. Just go inside the University Mall.
They fixed my flat tire in 10mins for only $10.
Very friendly and very quick. Where you would have to wait days to get a simple repair anywhere else, T&M gets your repair done in less than an hour every time. I always tell people that if they have an issue with your bike, ALWAYS go here! When your bike is your only way of getting around, you need to get it fixed fast and there is no better place than T&M for that.
Awesome work and also super cheap! Definitely recommend going here to get your bike fixed before going anywhere else!
Replaced my inner tube and tire in 20 minutes for $22. Was going to go to the Bike Barn but they would have charged me $32 and it would have taken four days. T&M Bike Shop has great service and great prices!
Quick repair and a good price.
I came here about 2 months ago to buy myself a fixie. Since then I have had a bit of issues with the bikes but I have returned and the owner has been willing to fix it for no charge to me. I have also seen him help other customers to complimentary services who came in and asked for advice. Overall, great customer service.
This place is dope , fuk the haters he keeps it cheap unlike every other place In the vicinity, he often provides his expertise in helping fix my bike free of charge
This bike shop is the best in Davis. He is fast and very inexpensive! He is really reasonable!
The guy who works there is awesome. I have had him work on my bike twice now and both times he was very efficient. Today he fixed a flat tire for me for $10, He also fixed it right when I brought it in.
Just watched the dude in here do two comp jobs, then my tube and tire was only $18! The guy is nice and professional. Having been to a couple places in Davis, I'll be coming back here most definitely
Shout out to the hardworking owner over here!
I don't know when these guys opened, but I was happy to find out that they do repairs too. Speaking for myself, I really am too lazy to walk my bike downtown and too cheap to get it fixed at the Bike Barn on campus. So this was a very convenient location for me.
I got my flat tire fixed for $10 (he replaced the tubing), and I got new brake pad for $5. Total $15, no extra fees. I was so surprised how cheap it would be here! It only took 15-20 minutes because another person ahead of me needed his tire fixed too.
Kudos to the people that work here. I will definitely come back for all my bike needs. 100% would recommend coming here for bike repairs.
Note: It's in between Ramen Hook & Namaste Nepal!
The back tire on my bike was slashed and I called in the last 40 minutes before closing time, and they said they could fix it. They replaced the tube AND the tire in 10 minutes for $20. Great service, time and price! Definitely going back here.
I decided to log in to my Yelp account after being absent for more than a year to write this. I want everyone to know about this place!
To keep it short and sweet, the owner of T&M knows bikes really well, has fixed my bike along with other friends' bikes within a few minutes, and asked for nothing more than a handful of dollars every time. He's extremely nice and helpful.
Whether you're new to Davis or have been around for a while, one thing you should pick up on is that this place is the one stop shop for all your bike needs. I've recommended this place to a number of people and everyone has come back to me with nothing but positive feedback.
The shop may not look the best, but I'd go as far to say that this place is my favorite bike shop in Davis.
First off, T&M is located in Davis, not Sacramento. It's a mistake.
Second, this is my go-to place to buy recycled bikes. Trien, the owner, is VERY nice, knowledgeable, and handy with bikes. The selection is very good and the prices are very reasonable. I've had no problems with my bikes so far and I've received many compliments from bike-savvy people.
Trien is also a generous guy. He will let you ride bikes around the block to test them out. He has also let me borrow tools for free. On another occasion, I went in to get a new tube, and he quickly installed it for me for only $10. You can also come in anytime for free air.
Even for people on a student budget, this place is very reasonable and affordable.

Second, this is my go-to place to buy recycled bikes. Trien, the owner, is VERY nice, knowledgeable, and handy with bikes. I've bought several expensive, high-end bikes (that he fixed up) for very cheap ($800-1000 bikes for $250-300). Ex: Bianchi, Fuji, Lemond. I've had no problems with my bikes so far and I've received many compliments from bike-savvy people.

$20 tuneup, fast, and great service.
Great prices
My back tire was flat and i brought it in with a tube and the guy fixed it (and replaced a part) for an inexpensive generous price. i definitely trust this shop with my bike needs.
I brought my son's bike in because we had bought it used and I could not get the rear derailleur adjusted right, the chain broke and the back wheel was warped. He said come back in an hour and I'll have it fixed for you. We said we would like to look at the large selection of low prices bikes he has, so he then said, oh just give me 20 minutes then. So one new cable later, and a perfectly tuned and lubed bike, we paid him his $25 and left happy. I will return.
Cheap, fast, and reliable.
I am so so GLAD because I found this Bike Shop!!!!
It took me weeks of looking for my right bike in many bike shops in Davis. Finally, I did end up with a red one here which makes me totally satisfied!!!
It is such a GREAT DEAL I got, haha, its price can beat every bike shop in Davis.
Believe me, this shop is the first place you should visit if you want to buy a really good bike with the lowest price!!!!
Highly recommend going here!!
P/S: The guy working here is also so nice and helpful -- 5 stars
I walked in with my bike for a flat tire with my own tube. The guy quickly fix my flat with my part with inexpensive charge on the labor work. I also picked a used rear bike rack and he installed it for me.
I know this place from my friend's recommendation and I think this is a good place to go for quick fix of your bike problem.
